On Friday, Year 3 Rubies enjoyed an exciting trip to St Mark’s Church, Battersea Rise, to take part in their Christmas Trail. We journeyed back 2000 years to visit Mary and Joseph, the Wise Men, and the shepherds, but nobody was there! They had all disappeared, and we had to collect clues to find out where they had gone. Along the way we heard about their personal experiences, imagining for ourselves how it would have felt. We finally arrived at the stable where we saw the baby Jesus and all the characters we had been searching for. It was a wonderful way to begin Advent and get into the Christmas spirit!
