This week, our budding business entrepreneurs in Year 6 have been introduced to the exciting world of business by creating start-up companies to raise money for this year’s Dolphin designated charity ‘Safe Passage’: supporting refugees who flee war-torn countries by boat.
The project kicked off by engaging in team-building activities, one of which was creating the tallest tower using only uncooked spaghetti and marshmallows!
The pupils then had to create an invigorating or a calming room spray, they had to calculate the price of a single unit, and then market their product by making an advert.
The children are now beavering away, designing, making and marketing their own products that you will be able to purchase soon.
