The Upper School classes were captivated by the passion of Neil Palfreyman from Thames and Hudson publishers, as he launched our DT Day.
He inspired the children as he expounded on the joys of a tangible book which you can hold in your hand, so that they could set off to create their own unique hand-made books. It was as if they had journeyed back in time to re-create the skills in use before the advent of the printing press.
Over the course of the day, the most wonderful books took shape. It was a brilliant day, developed by Mr Anderson and Mr Schmidt, which allowed creative and practical skills to come to the fore.
